American Korean War Veteran Plaque Production

In the Fall of 2022, I was selected to be a project manager for a project creating plaques of appreciation for American Korean War Veterans who were killed-in-action. These plaques were presented to these soldiers’ families. Five veterans were selected, four deceased and one living. The process involved the creation of wooden frames, research on potential veterans, contacting families, collecting images of veterans for creation of 3D models, and then printing and assembling the plaques. My role as project manager was to assist in the collection of materials and assembly as well as ensuring that students remained on task and met their deadlines. Below are some pictures of the plaques.
